These plants self seed around my garden, often choosing quite bizarre places to grow. Kent, SE England, April 2003

One of my favorite plants. Very early blooming (around daffodil time) purple flowers proceed beautiful silvery "dollar" seedpods.

This year for the first time, this delightful mixed flower colour appeared on two Honesty plants, among the numerous purple and white-flowered plants in my garden in Victoria, Australia, October 2005

Mid June, overgrown Lunaria in an untended front yard, beneath the canopy of something much larger. Not a pretty picture, but honest.

one of the few things that show well in the winter! i plant these for both summer flowers, and winter texture. great bang for the 'buck' :-)

This is an example of the primary onslaught, some trimming and the plants have managed to limp along without this level of disfigurement.

Mine are mid purple, but many growing wild in the area are more reddish-purple.
