This is a single 'Vintage Rose' bloom. Some plants produce a double bloom as seen in my other photo.

Garden Stock, Ten-week Stock, Gillyflower (Matthiola incana) 'Vintage Rose' seed pods (seedpods) turn a nice mauve color as they first start to age adding still more beauty after the blooms die.
