Blooms continuously from spring until first heavy frost. Great ground cover and filler plant. Enjoys morning sun and afternoon shade in my beds. Although it spreads, it is easy to dig up.(San Antonio, Tx.)

Desert petunia, blue shade (Ruellia brittoniana) growth habit, new leaves and different lighting. They can appear a grayish green due to the fine hairs on the leaves.
