Dutch Iris 'Purple Sensation' (Iris x hollandica)

Iris x hollandica

I have tried repeatedly w/o success to capture the color of this variety. Actual color is deep (almost black), velvety, royal purple. No lavendar, blue, pink,etc. Shadow color is closest to actual.

Actual color is a very nice rich, deep, velvety purple. Camera insists on converting this to lavendar, blue, orchid.
