The 'Pele's Smoke' purple sugar cane has long, elegant, arching smoky-chocolate-purple to burgundy leaf blades originating from woody segmented dusky purple to maroon canes. Many of the leaf blades sport a long pink mid-rib. A small plant is shown. (San Antonio, Tx.)
