Bud up close. This salmon colour is the same the glows from the centre of the bloom the first few days before the whole flower turns fuscia-pink purplish.

24 hours after being cut as huge buds from the garden. The bright salmon colour is still present, but not fully captured by the camera.

Morning after being cut in bud the previous evening from the garden. Bright luminosity of the various pinks isn't fully captured by the camera. Very candy-fruity scent.
