Seed acquired in Malta in 1989, now have 3 trees living indoors in winter, outdoors in summer, they're about 6' high. Will die if exposed to cold weather.

Picture is of dried seed pod with bean like seeds, flowering branch, quarter, and green seed pod. And yes, the spines are irritating.
