Fruits of the Malabar chestnut. Picture was taken at the Marie Selby Botanical Garden, Sarasota, Florida. The tree is about 15 feet tall and growing in what looks to be a 200-gallon pot.

A beautiful shape. It doesn´t give much shade, but doesn´t use much space either, so it´s good for urban arborization. Rio de Janeiro, early spring.
