Flowering a little earlier than normal, mid July 2002. Normally doesn't flower until the first or second week in August.

The name agapanthus is derived from the Greek 'agape', meaning love, and 'anthos', flower. The plants are native to South Africa.

Lily of the Nile; Seed pods and seeds. Pods form on the tall stalks when flowers fade; these have been cut short so they can be dried inside so seeds aren't lost / blown by the wind.
