Flowers are 2" or more across, and are single or fully double. They dance above the foliage on slender, hairy stems. Leaves are pale green and deeply cut.

I ACCIDENTALLY HAD THE FLASH ON AND THE LIGHT BROUGHT OUT THE ORANGE IN THE RED, i RECIEVED THESE PARTICULAR SEEDS FROM A GARDEN GROUP i GET THE PACKETS EACH FALL AND SPRING THIS IS THE FIRST YEAR i HAD ANY COME UP. IT HAS MADE ME A BIG POPPY FAN i HAVE ICELAND, LETTUCELEAF, AND CALIFORNIA POPPIES THEY MAKE FOR A GOOD SHOW AFTER MY IRISES BLOOM IN THE SAME BED.
