This is my mother Rice Paper plant. She stands about 10 feet tall. She blooms in early winter.

It spreads by underground rhisomes and can become invasive if left unchecked. The leaves are huge and the plant can get ten feet or taller each year before dying back to the ground each fall in my zone 7

Big leaf! Note size of concrete blocks below. Leaf measured 28 inches.

Growing outdoors in the uk after its firt winter outside. It held a leaf right through but that died pre spring.
