Wonderful as a border plant - The prolific pale pink blooms last one day and contrast nicely with the dark green foliage. I periodically remove the dried flowers (shown in the image behind the open blooms) just to be tidy.

A small 'Bonita' Mexican petunia just beginning to bloom. Note: The purple flowers are not real; they are silk flowers that I was using as fillers until my young plants could fill in. These last at least 2 years before fading.

Such a lovely bloom to be so delicate and have such a short life. They flourish in my flower beds.

Another view of this delicate, lovely blossom. Every year I have more come up.

Mexican Petunia, Mexican Blue Bells 'Colobe Pink' (aka: 'Bonita') blooms don't need to be deadheaded; however, I squirt the dead blooms off with water because they sometimes stick to leaves.

Invasive! I am intentionally growing these babies in pots but will weed out the new ones that are coming up.
