Now, in summer 2010, these plants make a nice colorful edging for the steps. They have been blooming for a solid month and the flowers last in vases with or with out water.

Helichrysum thianschanicum 'Icicle', planted in 2006, now in June 2010 it is in full bloom. For a plant said not to bloom at all, this has been making a reliable display for the last month.

Flowers have dried and turned a mellow yellow, still attractive looking when there's little color in my natural Sierra landscape.
