Tulipa praestans produces 2-4 flowers per stem. The colour is very vibrant (perhaps too vibrant!).

This picture shows its cupped shapes of the leaves surrounding the plant. The flowers are on shorter stalks because temperatures vary like crazy that year.

Blooming - sensitive to cloudy days. One to two buds is normal of this plant in my yard.
