Golden rain tree, Venice, Florida, October 2003. The yellow spots are flower; the glorious dark reds are the seed pods. This particular tree is magnificant. Many others are kind of scruffy looking, however.

Each fruit pod contains 1 or sometimes 2 seeds that are black at maturity.
