Stemless Evening Primrose (Oenothera triloba) growth habit grow which is a rosette shape like a dandelion ... It is very low growing (usually 8 inches tall or less ) and withstands mowing very well. Shown in mid-March.

The Stemless Evening Primrose (Oenothera triloba) bloom in my photo above this one was opening so fast that by the time my camera had recorded the first stage and I had refocused the camera, it had progressed to this stage.

The Stemless Evening Primrose (Oenothera triloba) bloom is now fully open. The true pale yellow color has been difficult to capture with my digital camera. I had to manipulate the color of the image to try to depict the color of a just opened bloom as seen at dusk as the sun sets.
