Found growing in a weedy area in Oklahoma. There were several other Goatsbeards nearby, slightly different color.

Tragopogon dubius, found growing in a field in Northeastern Oklahoma. Thank you, Jmorth, for your helpful post in differentiating this from Tragopogon pratensis.
