Anise Swallowtail (Papilio zelicaon) butterfly feeding on White Bog-orchid flowers in British Columbia, Canada, July 1997. Many Platanthera are called butterfly orchids, because butterflies use their long tongues to get nectar from the long spurs of these flowers.
