My Audubon Field Guide lists this Bladder Campion as Silene cucubalis. Interesting flower shape with the bubble type calyx.

Found in the U.P. of Michigan growing in a field, near a small lake.

These blooms are about faded out (July) and the calyxes are starting to deflate. (The foliage is a yew, not the bladder campion, which has smooth, lance-shaped, bluish-green, small leaves.)
