Found Dwarf Fameflower (also called Showy Flameflower) open after 3PM on rocky south facing trail about 7000 ft. elevation east of Sandia Mountains August 27, 2014

Dwarf Fameflower with closed buds. They only open for 1 or 2 hours in the late afternoon.
This flower only opened after 3:30PM.
