a bit discolored from too much sun, and thin in parts from cold and dehydration (gets ignored a lot)... but healthy enough to bloom this April in southern California

This rat tail cactus lives on public land, on a eucalyptus tree, in Balboa Park, San Diego (not sure of the exact species, pls clarify if possible)
