This photo shows Oriental Bittersweet climbing almost 50 feet in the air. It's a vigorously growing vine that climbs over and smothers vegetation which may die from excessive shading or breakage.

The leaves are alternate, glossy, nearly as wide as they are long (round), with finely toothed margins.
