A closer view of the buds and blooms. The blooms have 6 outer petals surrounding the inner petal cup. The top bloom has 6 petals, but the wind has blown it back. (San Antonio, Tx.)

The small flowers are along the stems with the buds being wonderful shades of coppery peach. The blooms are unusual. There is a center cup of petals with 6 separated petals that are slightly cupped on the tips surrounding it ... looks like a space station. (San Antonio, Tx.)
