This is a very impressive foliage plant with few insect problems. It shows well with variegated Goutweed.

Sieboldiana Elegens sets lots of seed pods. Pic taken 28 Jun about 10 days after flowering. 2006 zone 7b.

Sieboldiana Elegens seed pods early July 2006. Pods darken as they age, and get that waxy bloom on them.
