The berries usually remain on the tree well into the winter, though the birds will eat them eventually.

Freshly planted small tree. It has started to grow pretty good, considering the site, which is heavy, poorly-draining clay. Sofia, Bulgaria, 2300 feet AMSL. Zone 6b
