A bud just starting to open. The petals are curled up inside of the bud and uncurl themselves. The petal that has uncurled from the bud on the left is still a little wrinkly, but it will straighten out. (San Antonio, Tx.)

I love my plant...only had for about three years and have not bloomed heavy yet. but is beautiful anyway. sending cuttings to friend in Ireland to propagate.
