It's always a race between the Blue Pearls and the Iris reticulatas for who will come out first.

It is difficult to get the exact color of this flower because of the silky texture. Tried taking this photo in the shade but no luck.

Blue pearl, 3/17/09. Pretty, but not long after this picture was taken, the plant was devoured by bunnies.

A very hardy little plant, some clumps were completely mowed down by bunnies and came back to flower.
