A view of the Woolly Paperflower (Psilostrophe tagetina) bloom which has faded and dried, a drying bloom and a bud. The dried blooms persist becoming papery; hence, its common name.

Woolly Paperflower (Psilostrophe tagetina) leaves are narrow, alternate and generally decrease in size as they move upward on the plant. At the base of the plant, the lower leaves form a rosette.
