Last year this plant filled a field as dense as any planted crop. This plant it was almost gone. I brought some pods in over the winter. The rattled when dry but they burst open and scattered seeds over several feet.

This plant sprouted up and I didnt think it look like a weed, so I let it grow and was very impressed with the long bloom & seed pods.

It sprouted up in one of my window boxes then then transfrred to ground.
