I never saw a Bleeding Heart blooming like my grandma´s, on this picture. Ribeirão Preto, north of São Paulo, mid winter.

My grandma putted that support, and the vine grew quite fast on that. It was blooming and producing seeds like never. Mid winter, Ribeirão Preto, north of São Paulo.

The bleeding heart bloom with an opening bud. The red part is in the form of a tight ball when it hasn't opened yet.

Seedpods on the lovely vines; this plant isn't listed on my zone's hardiness. But as container plants these are worth to have year after years.
