These flowers are 6 inches across and have a mild fragrance. There were 18 blossoms.

One of the most spectacular Brazilian Orchids. Becomes a large plant. Usually 3 to 5 flowers per raceme. There is a large variation in the colour of the lip, from red to a bluish-purple.
