I have this plant for years. Got it very young, replanted it in my window, and now (maybe 7 or 8 years later) it´s just like that. Rio de Janeiro.

This plant is 7' tall and grown without direct sunlight. Will be redder with some sunlight.

This plant is normally in filtered light by my front door. Brought it into the sun for photo. Kept indoors during winter.

The reddish leaves look rubra but they are duller red, grown in intense heat and light and dry conditions
