Beautiful flowers, they are somewhat similar to common milkweed flowers but usually have much more vibrant color.

The simplist way to tell Prairie Milkweed from Common Milkweed is by the leaves. Those of Prairie Milkweed are smooth, even on the undersides (the undersides of Common Milkweed are fuzzy).
