This is a fast growing plant. I cut it back a couple of times a year to about 4 to 5 feet. As you can see, it is as tall as the pool screen enclosure again. I root the trimming. Easy, root-tone and stick them in the ground.

Very large Schefflera (Schefflera actinophylla) trees growing on the side of a mountain in Wailua, Maui, Hawaii and bearing flowers and fruit. I loved the view. (As observed in October)
