This maple is a mix between a silver and red maple. Wonderful fall color and good for areas with highly alkaline soil. This one is growing on an Edmonton, AB boulevard zone3b. Pic taken Oct 5/08

The leaves on the autumn blaze take the shape from the red maple, the deep cuts from the silver maple, and the silver back of a silver maple.
