Aquilegia einseleana in my small alpinum. This one is a very small which parents did come originally from Monte Baldo.

Aquilegia einseleana is also a native and (endemic) columbine here in the Tyrolean mountains. This one blooms in Thiersee.

Aquilegia einseleana has a longer lifespan then most other columbines. After five years it can bloom this rich and beautiful!

Aquilegia einseleana is such a wonderful small and fine species of columbine, endemic frome the last iceage here in Austria.
