This tree has been carefully pruned to cover my patio table from the sun. It is a little messy. Cut the blooms off after they are finished.

Jamaican Lilac in zone 10 near Gulf of Mexico. Leaves are fragrant, like herbs, when you touch them. Flowers are not fragrant. Cut back every year and each summer it gets bigger.
