Villagers sell the plants like this for us to buy a part and eat the fruits raw - sweet, tasty and nutritious -- winter crop.

This small moth caterpillar [know not which] is probably a host to this variety as it is found often inside the fruit where it enters making a hole in the cover, to eat the green grain.
