Even though it looks like a green passion fruit, this is actually a fruit closely related to cucumbers. And tastes like them too. Rio de Janeiro, mid autumn.

Just cut open the fruit, and eat the seedy part. It has a nice banana/cucumber flavor.

These grow like weeds and make many, many fruit. They need a very long growing season though.
