I bought this Senecio Vitalis 3 months ago at a Nursery in Gig Harbor, WA. It hads overgrown the pot already and sent out long shoots that are flowering. Does any one know if it can be cut back?

From my Senecio collection, begins sending out a 4" thyse at the end of January and flower's early part of February.
