The color of this peony is very vivid in bud and fades as the bloom ages, though I have been told that I could avoid the fading if I gave my plants afternoon shade.

Coral Supreme was one of the first corals developed by Samuel Wissing, and is an eye catcher in any garden. I have taken more than 200 photos of its blooms and have yet to capture the total beauty that my eye sees.
