Nun's Orchids in bloom - the fragrance is heavenly! Super easy to grow ground orchid - grow in well draining soil; don't plant too deep.

New plants can be propagated by cutting the blooms stalk after blooming and laying horizontally barely covered (press into) in damp soil in shade, warm temps. 2-3 months to see new plants.

The pods that form after blooming are filled with small white, powdering 'spores'.

Here is a close up to give an idea of the size of the spores in the pods that form after blooming. There are TONS of these in each pod. I am researching if it is viable to propagate from these.
