A beautiful individual with little pink, anemone-like flowers. Itatiaia, east of Rio de Janeiro, late winter.

Fruit. Species and some hybrids produce fruit. This one was about 1.25-1.5"D with an apple-like form. Resembled a crab apple. Wildlife quickly ate them when ripe.
