This bush was donated to my church garden in Rochester New York. The flowers are spicy-sweet. It is thriving under a large magnolia in an area which gets sun only at the four hours of mid-day. We trimmed it last fall, and it had only a few flowers this year. It blooms the last two weeks in June around here. The flowers resemble buttercups and are held straight out on delicate (<5mm) sligghtly woody branches.Photo by Bob Crystal
