With its bright white spines and nice shade of green, Polka Dots (bunny ears)stands out in any landscape. It looks great planted in front of taller growing cacti. (San Antonio, Tx.)

this is the Opuntia microdasy fa. alba in flower. Have a look between the upper and lower flowers you can see the clasical Opuntia flower buds and fruit. This picture has been taken in my Tenerife garden ( I am living during sommer in Belgium)
