Confused(?) Burkwood Daphne 'Somerset' blooming in early November - second year plant

Flower cluster in late September 2013 on a 2-3 yr. old plant. There were more flowers in September than in Spring.

I started this from a cutting the previous Summer and have kept it pinched back to encourage dense growth.
