Lapland Poppy, Papaver lapponicum. Early, in the season, the foliage has a bluish tint, which fades to green with time. (cultivation Anchorage, Alaska 5/26/2006).

Lapland Poppy, Papaver lapponicum. Sometimes flowers are white. Flowers are small about one-half the size of P. alaskanum or P. alboroseum. (Cultivation, Anchorage, Alaska 7/18/2006)
