note the "pond" the aralia sits in (pot should be raised above water line). these are fussy plants and like high, high humidity. temp must not fall below 60 F.

this plant seems to be quite picky but its ailments can usually be solved simply by moving it around until it's happy.

About 10 years ago I put a pot down on the ground with my Ming Aralia. It grew out of the pot and rooted. I cut it back every year. Do nothing to it. I have a couple indoors also. Easy care.
