Pic from 2005 - late summer. Didn't set as many pods or bloom as much as it normally does because of the heat and drought this year. Still pretty, though.

I just soaked the seeds in warm water overnight, then direct sowed about 3 1/2 weeks ago. Look how fast they grow.

This was taken in August 2007. I planted 4 seeds directly in the ground. I live about 100 miles north of NYC.
