A tiny but useful plant for odd little corners that need filling. Self-sows under the right conditions. There is a pure white form. Originally from the eastern side of the US, this plant is naturalized in Japan and wide spread.
The name atlanticum may be a synonyn, but for what, I don't know.

S. atlanticum comes in two flavors: grape or vanilla. Here the two are growing side by side.
